ABOUT ME
BEHIND THE BRUSH
Hi, my name is Angela Heiron, I am a grandmother, animal lover and a portrait artist working from home in Kettleshulme, a small village in the Peak District National Park, England.
I have been interested in art and drawing all my life but with work and family commitments I have only in recent years found time to pursue my passion for drawing.
I have tried different media including oils, charcoal, water colours, acrylics and pastels, I have found that using high quality pastels I can achieve the detail and realism which is essential in portraiture. I get tremendous enjoyment seeing the picture come to life as I progress through the drawing.
